Working Hours

• Commencement: 9:00 AM.

• Lunch Break: whenever.

• Departure: whenever after 6:00 PM.

Day off

• According to the guidelines of Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH).

• 15 days off per year: Summer and winter vacation periods, each for 5 days + 5 days for the semester.

• Compensatory day off for mandatory holiday work.

Remuneration

• According to the internal regulations of Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH).

• Monthly stipend for student research assistants in the academic year 2023 (unit: KRW).

Events

① Meetings (usually once a week)

• Group Meetings: Oral presentations in the format of international conferences, one person each.

• Subgroup Meetings: Progress review and feedback for major research projects.

② Cleaning (usually once every other week)

• Lab Cleaning: Making lab clean and getting familiar with lab stuff.

• Server Cleaning: Update and organizing group servers by individuals or subgroups.

Space

• 2 laboratories: About 400 m³ for experiments.

• 5 offices: One for professor and the other four for researchers.
